Sorry, this item has sold.

This one of a kind mushroom hunting mesh bag was designed with comfort and sustainability in mind - the perfect mix of fungi and function.

The messenger-style design is comfortable for long forays. The strap is extra long so that it easily fits across the chest, over a coat or several layers, and sits naturally at or slightly below waist-level. This style bag allows you to have two hands free for picking, easy access to the bag, and it won't slip off your shoulder while you're searching through branches and brush. The bag is sized 13x15, which prevents crushing the tender mushrooms at the bottom of the bag when it is full.

The strap, front flap, and upper portion of the bag are constructed of upcycled denim and soft tie-dyed t-shirt material. These materials have been layered so that the bag has a nice weight and structure, which helps keep the opening from collapsing in on itself when you are foraging. The tie dye portions of the bag are dyed in cheerful rainbow colors. The front flap is decorated with two felt morel mushrooms.

The bottom 3/4 of the bag is made of new polyester mesh. Mesh bags are preferred by many mushroom hunters because it allows the spores from the picked mushrooms to be redistributed across the forest floor while foraging. This practice ensures replenished or increased mushroom production for future seasons. Additionally, the mesh provides proper air circulation, which is key for keeping your mushrooms fresh.

The mushrooms are drawn by hand onto felt, cut out, secured with fabric glue for stability, and then decoratively hand-stitched to add unique, special details. They are attached to the bag with fabric glue and decorative hand-stitches, using two strands of strong upholstery thread.

This is a ready-to-ship item and you will be receiving the exact morel hunting mesh bag shown in the photos of this listing. :)
