This Shiitake mushroom kit will produce up to 1.5 lbs of amazing Shiitake mushrooms and is GUARANTEED to produce for you, or I will replace it for free. Shiitake mushrooms are easy to grow, tolerate typical basement conditions very well, and require no watering. All you have to do is open the sealed bag when it's mature (per the included instructions) and let it grow.
My Shiitake mushroom grow kit is a living mushroom production block weighing 3 pounds. My kits come with written instructions. No assembly required! I produce mushrooms from these same kits in my own mushroom farm for sale locally at the farmer's market. Imagine beautiful, deep brown Shiitake mushrooms in your home or garden.
When the Shiitake kit is grown outdoors, the flavor from the Shiitake mushrooms becomes concentrated, becoming intense and delicious, rivaling the qualities of a fresh truffle.
* My kits are easy, they arrive already growing, and I've done all the work for you.
* Full growing instructions are included
* This is a living mushroom production block that grows to maturity under your care.
I'm happy to chat with you about how to get your mushroom garden growing. I've been doing this for a long time, and I can help you get your grow on. Just message me with your question!
Shiitake will produce mushrooms most efficiently 10-14 weeks after they are fully colonized. Shiitake needs this time to digest the substrate and store energy for producing lots of mushrooms. Shiitake fungus will indicate when it is ready to produce mushrooms, when over 50% of the kit's surface has matured to a deep brown color
I provide a plastic bag to use as humidity tent that fits right over your mushroom block (once fully colonized and bag is opened) to help maintain a humid environment for your mushroom garden. Simply punch some air holes in it, spray the inside with water, and slip it over your mushroom block - it will passively provide humidity.
In addition to the simple method described, spent mushroom kits can also easily be used as mushroom spawn to start outdoor mushroom growing projects such as growing on logs - instructions are plentiful on YouTube and across the net, and I'm happy to share my advice and growing instructions as well. Just send me a message with your question!
